A global initiative that began in 2014, *Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing
Security (MANRS)*, takes one step toward preventing network attacks by
taking on security as a shared responsibility between networks. 77 network
operators and 20 IXPs currently participate.

*This webinar, on 12/4 at 12 p.m. EST *will provide a brief overview of
risks to network routing within the R&E community, and share examples of
the impact of even a small, malicious routing announcement. Additionally,
we'll discuss the four easy ways to implement activities that comprise
MANRS.

The webinar will not be overly technical, but technical resources will be
on hand to answer questions. We hope that you will be able to join us.
