UPDATE: The 2017 UETN Technical Summit will be held June 15th – 16th 2017 in Murray, Utah at Hillcrest Junior High.

Registration is opened for a couple more weeks and nearly full. The Session Schedule is now available and subject to change but should give a good idea of the opportunities that are available.

Please Note: We have a limited seating primer class for Certified Wireless Technology Specialist. If you are interested in the signing up for this Session you must be a paid registered attendee please follow the link below.  Please note that you should only sign up if you plan to attend both 3 hour sessions (Course info below).

CWTS Session Information:
Title: An Overview of Wireless Technologies - Helping Become a Certified Wireless Technology Specialist (CWTS)
Instructor: Tom Carpenter, CTO for CWNP

Description: This 6-hour course is provided by the CTO from the Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) organization and will be an excellent overview of basic non-vendor specific wireless technologies and provide a “warmup” for those wanting to take and pass the exam to become a Certified Wireless Technology Specialist (CWST). The following details will be covered:

Wi-Fi Infrastructure and Client Devices (brief overview) Wi-Fi Terminology and Operation (brief overview) Radio Frequency Fundamentals (brief overview) Antennas and Accessories (brief overview)
Wi-Fi: Under the Hood
RF Site Surveys
Wi-Fi Security
