Hi,

Please join us Friday March 24th from 1-3pm in the INSCC auditorium Rm
110 for presentations on Dark Fiber, National Lambda Rail (NLR), Emulab,
GENI, Cyber-infrastructure and other Advanced networking projects in
Utah.  The tentative agenda of topics and speakers are as follows:

1-1:30pm:  Evolving National and Regional Optical Networking
Infrastructure  -- Steve Corbato Internet2

1:30-2pm:  Advanced Network Research with Emulab plus upcoming NSF GENI
project  -- Jay Lepreau  Univ. of Utah School of Computing

2-2:30pm:  Cyber-infrastructure in Utah -- Julio Facelli
Univ. of Utah Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC)

2:30-3pm:  Utah's National LambdaRail connection and other Networking
projects in Utah -- Barry Bryson Utah Education Network (UEN)

3pm- : Informal panel discussion

Directions to INSCC are:

 From I-15 northbound: Take the eastbound 600 South exit. At State
Street turn left, proceeding 2 blocks north until you reach 400 South.
Turn right, proceeding east on 400 South for approximately 2 miles until
you reach the University of Utah campus.  Turn left on 1300 East and
head north until 100 South.  Turn Right (east) on 100 South and come up
to 1455 East where a stoplight exists.  Take the NEXT right and follow
into visitor parking.  INSCC is the building directly west of the
visitor parking.

turn right, proceeding aproximately 1.5 miles south until you reach 400
South. Turn left, proceeding east on 400 South for approximately 2 miles
until you reach the University of Utah campus.  Turn left on 1300 East

up to 1455 East where a stoplight exists.  Take the NEXT right and
