[tforum] Department of Defense making substantial progress in IPv6 roll-out; UofU and UEN getting prepared

briefly describes the Department of Defense status on rolling out IPv6 
on its network.  The UofU has formally passed the initiative to roll out 
IPv6 natively on its backbone.  This roll out will happen during a 
downtime in the next 2 weeks.  UEN is rolling IPv6 on its backbone as 
well.  The Internet2 Abilene network and most research networks already 
have IPv6 natively routing.  Therefore, research collaborations are now 
possible via native IPv6 to US government and foreign collaborators.
