in March 2003

*ITEC-Ohio and the Ohio Learning Network will present */"The Convergence
of Learning and Technology and Windows on the Future 2003/*, March 3^rd
and 4^th at the Columbus Hilton at Easton. ITEC-Ohio is collaborating
with OLN this year in order to create a stronger, more comprehensive
conference program for 2003, that will align two distinct institutions
by combining the pedagogical and technical expertise of both. This
two-day conference will offer the best from two of Ohio's premiere
conferences  the annual OLN conference and the Windows on the Future
conference. Join us and share your exciting stories in teaching,
learning, and technology!

The OLN/ITEC-Ohio 2003 conference will feature both submitted and
invited papers that describe the pedagogy and resources in
technology-enabled education.In addition to the specific topics listed
under each general category, OLN and ITEC-Ohio encourage proposals that
represent innovative and effective use of technology, teaching and
learning paradigms, and student services.

OLN and ITEC-Ohio request papers that deal with a broad range of themes
that describe "quality education," particularly in an on-line or
technology-enhanced format.Possible topics include: Developing &
Facilitating Engaging Courses, Student Services/Learner Support, Policy,
Funding and Issues, New Media/New Technologies, New Partnerships and
Collaborations.

To be a part of this growing conference, complete and submit a program
proposal application on OLN's web site at _www.oln.org_
<http://www.oln.org/>.  Proposal submission deadline is November 15,
2002. The web site contains more detailed information about the
conference and proposal submission.Sessions are scheduled to be no
longer than one hour, including time set aside for audience questions
and engagement.

All presenters must register for *ITEC-Ohio/OLN 2003* and pay
registration fees for the conference. Online registration will be
available in December 2002. Sessions may be videotaped or web cast
simultaneously, and may be archived for later educational use. Those
whose proposals are accepted will be asked to sign a consent form.
