Early Registration Begins April 15th!
Early registration for Junior Science Academy, Self-guided Field Trips and Teaching Toolboxes will take place April 15, 2013 through April 30, 2013. We invite you to secure your reservations early to ensure you and your students receive these valuable programs.
Junior Science Academy is a program that enables fourth and fifth-grade classes to engage in science from new perspectives.
Self-guided field trips have been developed to give students hands-on, authentic experiences with natural history concepts.
Teaching Toolboxes are free teaching resource kits complete with touchable specimens and reproducible materials available for check out.

Upcoming Teacher Workshops
Register today for Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Plants! Saturday, April 27. You will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from scientists, identify plants first-hand, engage with hands-on activities, as well as practice with toolbox lesson plans, and the integration of content into other curriculum.
Get infected with us Saturday, May 18 for Teaching Toolbox Worshop: Experience Parasites! This Saturday session will highlight the parasites toolbox with the opportunity to learn first-hand from Dr. Sarah Bush. Includes hands-on activities, an overview of Sarah's work, exploration of the four modules in the toolbox as well as practice with science process lesson plans. Register Today!
Friday, April 19 & Saturday, April 20: Celebrate Astronomy Week at the Natural History Museum of Utah! Meet local astronomy experts, learn the difference between comets and asteroids and explore magnetism, light and pressure through hands-on activities designed for adults and children.
Adventures in the Natural World! NHMU's Summer Camp program integrates natural history concepts with adventure and fun! Many spaces are still available for 2nd through 8th graders. Learn More Here!
