We have a Culinary Essentials class which has the training embedded. It's not pointed out, but we did that on purpose. If you are interested, here is a link to the KS Restaurant and Event Management Pathway. Scroll down until you find it. (P.S. We also added that class to our Human Services-Family, Community and Consumer Services pathway because I had social workers share some new to the field didn't know how to do a food sanitation check of residential kitchens when determining ability of geriatric citizens to live on their own. I included that pathway link too just in case.)

Greetings all,

Does anyone have any documents they've created to justify/show the importance of all FCS teachers being ServSafe Managers certified and/or initiatives in your state to do just that? Also, do you have any guidelines/documentation to use with teacher to incorporate it into their curriculum/programs?

Thanks in advance! I'd rather not reinvent the wheel as I imagine someone has something along these lines already.

Happy Monday!
