[Library Media] The Vietnam War - webinar with Ken Burns on 5/1

Classrooms across the U.S. are invited to join presenting partners PBS
Education, ITVS, National History Day, and WETA on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at
12:30PM ET for a live, streaming-only event featuring filmmaker Ken Burns,
director of the PBS documentary, *THE VIETNAM WAR*. During the interactive
discussion, Ken will offer an in-depth look at the Vietnam War era through
his latest documentary while sharing personal, behind-the-scenes insights
into his experience working with U.S. and Vietnamese veterans.

Throughout the conversation, students and teachers can pose questions to
Ken, participate in polls, and screen segments from *THE VIETNAM* WAR film.
This event will offer vital perspectives on the War and give students a
chance to immerse themselves in one of the most consequential, divisive,
and controversial events in American history.
