Today YALSA announced the finalists for our Morris Award

Apply by Jan. 1 for Summer Learning Grants

We’re giving away 20 $1,000 grants to support libraries’ efforts to reach
underserved teens over the summer months, as well as another 20 $1,000
grants to support hiring teen interns over the summer.  Learn more and

2018 Teen Tech Week™ Resources

We have everything libraries need to plan great TTW activities for March 4
- 10 at www.ala.org/teentechweek.  Join YALSA in celebrating the many ways

YALSA is seeking feedback from individuals who are not YALSA members,
especially those from diverse backgrounds, to learn more about what their
needs and interests are in order to better serve them.  If you’re not yet a

Beginning in March 2018, YALSA will offer a free webinar series, open to
anyone interested in serving teens through libraries. Sign up for updates

Call for Paper and Program Proposals YALSA is now accepting proposals for
our 2018 YA Services Symposium, which will be held Nov. 2 – 4, 2018 in Salt
Lake City, UT.  Submit proposals that relate to the symposium theme
“Libraries: Helping All Teens Build a Better Future,” by no later than Feb.
