Happy Monday!

In a *C*ollaborative *O*utreach *O*pportunity for *L*ibraries, the State
Library is joining forces with the Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and
Murray libraries to participate in the *Utah Muslim Heritage Festival* on
September 23rd from 1 to 5 PM (Address: 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, UT 84117).

This festival is a great opportunity for all Utahns to learn more about the
faith of Islam and Muslims and regardless of where you are, I strongly
encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and create in your
library a table display of the materials you have in your collection.
Attached are a couple of items you can print and share with your patrons
and below is a list of resources for creating a library display and a list
of historical and contemporary Muslim figures.
