It does give a partial answer to the question of “What name to use”. But if you don’t know the tribal affiliation – what should you use then? We can say a person is German, French, English or if we don’t know we say European. Or someone is from California, Utah, New York, or is an American. But what about the Native Americans?

If you're about to set up a display in your elementary or children's library, for Native American Heritage Month, here's a simple idea:
