Writing Meaningful Memoirs is an interactive seminar that demonstrates a
fresh writing process, provides a bounty of ideas and questions for
reflection, and guides participants in identifying significant and intense
moments of joy, achievement, wonder, contentment, anxiety, grief and
resilient strength in their lives.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Nan Phifer, a gifted writer and teacher, is resident scholar of the Oregon
Writing Project at the University of Oregon. Her award winning book,
Memoirs of the Soul: A Writing Guide, has been used in college classrooms
across the nation. Nan travels widely to lead seminars for teachers,
writing groups and interfaith assemblies. She is currently creating a
writing-to-heal manual for veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress.
