[Library Media] UELMA 2014 Conference Proposal Follow-up

Tue Nov 26 13:52:30 MST 2013

Thank you for the great response to our call for proposals for UELMA's 2014 spring conference. There are so many amazing professionals in our field, who do great things in their schools. It's definitely looking to be an awesome conference. (Remember to mark your calendar for March 13, 2014.)
Please know that we will continue to accept proposals until the conference program fills. We would love to offer more sessions on using technology, library websites, PLC participation, Common Core implementation, SAGE assessment preparation, successful library programs and after school clubs you have overseen in your schools, specific activities related to National Library Week and promoting your library, and information and ideas more specific to elementary librarians.
We know you are all so busy, as this is a busy time of year both personally and professionally. But, please keep in mind the power that comes from sharing great practices and establishing a professional learning network. Again, thank you to those that have already submitted conference proposals. We're excited about what you have to share and look forward to hearing from a few others.
The form for UELMA 2014 Conference Proposals can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/33NG9RF or through UELMA's website at www.uelma.org, under "Conferences & Workshops."
Hope you all have a great holiday break.
