I don't remember seeing the following message on the school library listserv. Since the workshop applies to K-12 schools, I think ULA would approve of my passing the information on to you. Hope you are all members as it is a productive partnership!

Library Journal Lead the Change Training coming to Utah
Lead the Change is a library focused leadership program that brings together leaders and participants to talk about the exciting changes in the library world and how those changes can and are transforming communities. Built on seven years of research and nearly 6,000 participants from over 1,000 libraries, each Lead the Change workshop provides insights, best practices and leadership tools from B.A. David Company founder David Bendekovic, library innovators, and thought leaders from around the country, including LJ Librarians of the Year and Movers and Shakers.
Lead the Change is designed for all library staff members and stakeholders—directors, managers and supervisors, trustees, and staff at every level and across all departments from public, academic, and school (K-12) institutions. Attendees receive an action planner and are led through a series of exercises to help bridge key thoughts to individual leadership objectives, producing your own unique action plan for success. The agenda and takeaways are designed to guide attendees to harness their ideas and their ability to lead while giving you the framework and tools you need to turn your ideas into actions to revolutionize your library.
Registration is $80.00 per person or $72 per person when registering 5 or more people.
