My middle schoolers still love making oobleck....

2 cups elmer's white glue
4 cups warm water
Tempra or Acrylic Paint... green for oobleck (obviously!) I've made purple
shlop, blue for "Luke Luck Licks Lakes" (the lake), I tried red for Red
Fish...not good...looks like brains!
mix thoroughly in a clear container

in a separate container mix
1/8 cup Borax
1/4 cup hot water
until Borax is dissolved

Start stirring the glue mixture and slowly add the borax mixture. The Borax
causes the compounds in the glue to adhere to each other and you get a
gloppy gooey creation! I hand out baggies and put a palm size amount in
each baggie for them to mess around with. Makes about 20ish depending on
your palm size.

You shouldn't have a problem with middle schoolers eating it!

Good Luck!
