Yes, yeah, Nancy!
So maybe I WAS on a soapbox regarding the need for articles in a professional journal. Promotion via the popular press is good too. I was thinking maybe all the school librarians in Utah could Tweet a line or two from Joyce Valenza's What Librarians Make blog - all at the same time. Could hundreds of simultaneous Tweets on the same topic make a difference to those that make decisions? First I'd have to get a following and before I get a following I'd have to figure out why my confirmation e-mail from Twitter keeps getting lost in cyberspace.
Do any of you out there have a successful library Twitter account?

Thanks Juan Tomas, for sharing this article with us. I
read it the paper and was delighted! Kudos to Nancy
Christiansen and all of the rest of you for the excellent
work you do with and for kids every single day. It's so
nice to know that people do notice your love of books and
kids and the importance of linking them together. :)
