Hi everyone,

I'm writing to let you know about the 2011 Teen Video Challenge in conjunction with the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP). Between now and March 1, Utah teens can create a 30-90 second video highlighting the 2011 Summer Reading Program theme, "You Are Here". The video will be posted on YouTube and could be used by CSLP to promote the theme during next year's summer reading program.

The creator of the winning video, judged on creativity, message clarity and relevance, motivation and inspiration, and overall impact, will receive a $250 award from CSLP. In addition, the winner's library will also receive $100. Each participating state will have one winner.

You'll find more information at the Utah State Library's summer reading program web page, http://library.utah.gov/programs/youth/summerReading.html. More resources, including audio clips with granted copyrights and a brochure, can be found by visiting the Teen Video Challenge page at http://www.cslpreads.org/challenge-overview.html.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
