Dear Colleagues,

I just wanted to remind you of a great resource produced in Utah for
teachers, librarians, and students: the UINTAH BASIN TEACHING AMERICAN
HISTORY PROJECT.
http://uintahbasintah.org

This project includes in-depth sections on:
Primary Sources - key documents in American history
American Indians 101 - Frequently Asked Questions
USOE Curriculum - Social Studies core file and resources for American
Indian History lessons
Lesson Plans and Activities
Understanding by Design and Lesson Plan template
Utah History - Timelines, maps, picture collections
National American Indian Heritage Month
lots, lots more!
Thank you to Antonio Arce, Director of the Ute Tribe Education
Department, and the collaborative efforts of Duchesne County School
District, Uintah County School District, Ute Tribe Education
Department/LEA (on the Uintah & Ouray Reservation), Utah State
University-Uintah Basin, for bringing this awesome resource online.
