Research has shown that reading early and often to children lays a foundation of reading success and lifelong learning. Reading aloud to babies, toddlers, and preschoolers develops language skills, increase vocabulary, enhances critical thinking and creativity, and nurtures emotional growth and self-confidence. This Utah Kids Ready to Read! class will enhance your knowledge and skills about emergent literacy concepts and how to apply them successfully in your children's programming.
