Subject: Read for the Record

Good afternoon,

I spoke with Christine Kearl today and received approval to send on this information for the Read for the Record event for October 8th, 2009. Schools will be receiving the book within the next two weeks. Please send this information on to Superintendents, Principals, and Librarians.

I will be sending posters to the Superintendents ASAP. Schools, parents, and others can then get on the www.readfortherecord.org<http://www.readfortherecord.org/> website and add their reading minutes to the global total. There are some fun learning activities also on the website.

The website encourages parents, grandparents, and EVERYONE to join the reading effort.

Thank you for your help with this initiative.
