Dear Librarian,

If you are involved in selecting and buying library materials in
Spanish, you owe it to yourself and your library users to consider
attending the International Book Fair (FIL) in Guadalajara, Mexico. Once
again, ALA and FIL are offering the Free Pass Program which provides:

3 nights at the Victoria Express (or 6 nights sharing a room with a
colleague)
3 breakfasts
FIL 2009 registration fee
All at the expense of FIL, and
$ 100 USD contribution towards the cost of the airfare, courtesy of
ALA.

This is cheaper than attending the ALA Conference in Chicago!

Queridos bibliotecarios:

Yes, it's only March, the economy has tanked, and we are all quite
nervous.
But the Guadalajara Free Pass is now available and the Guadalajara Book
Fair will have the largest sampling of Spanish language books in the
world.
Why not begin now in your planning?
I am looking forward to receiving an application from you.

Saludos cordiales.
