[library-media] LSTA GRANT WRITING WORKSHOPS SPRING 2008 ROUND

A third grant writing workshop has been added to the schedule for potential grant applicants for Spring Round 2008.

The third workshop will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Utah State Library. Online Registration will open tomorrow (Nov. 20) and is available by following this link:

Additional workshops will be held on Jan. 10, 2008 at the Utah State Library and on Jan. 16, 2008 at Snow College, Richfield campus. The times for both workshops are 10 AM to 2 PM and registration is available online at the link above.

Required Intent to Apply forms are due by Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 and all applications must be received by 5 pm on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008. Funds available for regular grants for spring round 2008 will be over $225,000 with an additional $100,000 available for mini grants.

The LSTA Advisory Council and Utah State Library are especially interested in funding projects from first time applicants and projects that are innovative. There are three categories of grants: digitization, enhanced access to library services, and technology infrastructure.
