I thought that Weedflower was pretty innocent, Linda. It is a good
multicultural book that opens kids eyes to the cultures of the main
characters ( A Mohave Indian boy and a Japanese American girl). She thinks
they can be friends if he will only forgive her for the internment camp
being placed on his tribe's land. It is powerful.
