[library-media] library media teachers and parent teacherconferences

We are paid the same as contract teachers in Jordan School District. We
have fought for equality when it comes to legislative money and bonuses and
one time raises. We can't pick and choose when to be what. I am a teacher
who is also a librarian. I love having quiet productive time to get orders
done and read School Library Journal. However, I often take magazines down
to the gym and offer them to teachers who don't have parents with them. I
like to be seen. The library is open. Sometimes the teachers ask why I am
there and I always tell them that I am on the same contract as they are and
work the same hours.
