Diane Gardner teaches at Mountain View High School. She teaches
"Medical English" classes. She is an excellent teacher and has
developed a very popular CTE program in the Health Science Academy at
her school. She has an excellent list of "health" related fiction books
for secondary students. She would be an excellent resource.

Thanks,

Greetings from Cache Valley!

I have a teacher who is looking for health related fiction titles for
her students to read.

I have come up with some suggestions for her, but was wondering if
anyone else has a booklist like this?

She wants the students to do reading outside of the classroom, fiction,
related somehow to anatomy & physiology.

Some of the titles she is including are:

                One Fat Summer

                Heart of a Champion

                Fat kid rules the world

    Side effects

So, basically anything that would in some way have a kid dealing with
their body whether it is conditioning, changes, weight, whatever.

Thanks for the help.
