The State Library Board has approved recommendations from the LSTA =
Advisory Council that will change grant funding levels and the requirements=
for local matching funds. The changes will be in effect for the Fall 2007 =
Grant Round.

There will now be a fund of $100,000 available for mini-grants both in the =
Fall and Spring rounds. In addition, the ceiling has been increased to =
$10,000 for individual mini-grants with a required local match of 10% =
required. The 10% match can be a combination of cash and in-kind contributi=
ons.

Regular grants will now be funded for amounts from $10,001 up to $100,000 =
maximum. Regular grants will require a 30% local match with a maximum of =
5% being in-kind. There will be $200,000 available for Regular grants in =
both the Fall and Spring rounds.
