Hello everyone,

For the month of November you will have the opportunity to take
CorePlus for a test-drive. Please remember to complete the online
survey to let us know what you think of it; otherwise, we won't know.

DESCRIPTION:
CorePlus engages students in mastering the basic knowledge in history,
social studies, art, science, and geography needed to enable higher
order thinking. Each CorePlus lesson cuts across several national
curriculum standards (see link on CorePlus homepage).

CorePlus can help your students answer questions like?

    * Who was Albert Einstein? Leonardo da Vinci?
    * Where on the map is Israel? Iraq? Canada?
    * What are the philosophical differences between Socrates and
Aristotle,
    * How did Susan B. Anthony change America?
    * What is the most common element in the atmosphere?

CorePlus can help cultivate your students' higher order thinking
abilities on basic knowledge of historical events, principles of art and
science, or world geography. Implementing CorePlus can help you spend
more time developing students' comprehension, critical thinking, and
other higher order skills, and less time reviewing the basics.

Go to: http://pioneer.uen.org , then click on the "CorePlus" link
located at the lower right-hand side of the screen.
