SIRS E-MAIL BULLETIN #10
TIPS & TRICKS: FINDING RELATED ARTICLES

Have you ever come across an article that really interested you, and =
wanted
to find out more but didn't know where to start? As a SIRS user, you can =
get
instant access to editorial assistance online!

Here's How .

Select the DESCRIPTORS ICON in SIRS Knowledge Source or the SUBJECTS =
ICON in
SIRS Discoverer, which accompany every article, to retrieve a list of
relevant subjects related to that article. You'll know that they are =
related
because SIRS' editorial staff hand-indexes each article assigning =
subjects
that DESCRIBE what the article is about. Each hyperlinked subject leads =
to
more articles about that specific descriptor allowing you to choose the
focus and pinpoint the exact resources you need.

TIP: Viewing the Descriptors or Summary of an article or Web site from =
the
results list is a great timesaver and an excellent means of determining =
what
information is covered without having to read the article or view the =
site.
