Library Media Specialists, Educators and others:

During the month of November "Facts on File News Service" will be
available for you to test-drive and give us your input. Here is your
opportunity to help decide what products should be added to Pioneer
Online Library. Go to: http://pioneer.uen.org then click on the "Facts
on File News Service" link located on the right-hand side of the page.

Facts on File News Services delivers more than 200,000 full-text news
articles, dating from January 1950. Special Historic Event features
cover landmark events back to 1940, with full-text 1940's coverage due
online by Spring 2002. This product provides controversial topics in a
language and format that researchers appreciate, with the balance,
accuracy and regular updating. It also includes the most current and
previous editions of The World Almanac and Book of Facts, with the
complete updated and enhanced World Almanac Encyclopedia (also known as
Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia).

In addition, there is a PowerPoint Tutorial which you can download from
this web page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

- Rick
