This session will show participants how to use ArcGIS Online to build their own collection of Civil War maps to enhance the teaching and learning of the Worlds of North and South, The Election of 1860; and the chronology of American Civil War Battles. Skills covered will include: searching for online GIS data, symbology, selection by attribute, and creating multi-media placemarks. Lesson plan, replication tips, tricks, and challenges will be shared.
