[CSD Math MS] ISD: Reimbursement for Math Endorsement Classes

Dear Secondary Math Teachers,
This email contains information about the reimbursement for costs related to obtaining a middle school mathematics, secondary mathematics (level 2, 3, or 4 (retiring 2023)), or SPED mathematics endorsement. (Information and action)
Reimbursement for Endorsement costs:
If you are currently working on obtaining any type of secondary math endorsement, you are eligible to receive reimbursement for your costs.
This funding from USBE (Utah State Board of Education) is to pay for the endorsement courses listed below that were started after July 1, 2020. Application for reimbursement goes through Canyons School District.
Will be reimbursed up to $1200 per course
Middle School Mathematics
Secondary Mathematics (retiring 2023): Level 2
Secondary Mathematics (retiring 2023): Level 3
Secondary Mathematics (retiring 2023): Level 4
Secondary Mathematics for Special Education
Requirements to apply for reimbursement include:
* Starting the class after July 1, 2020.
* At least 3 credit hours from accredited institution of higher education (UtSTA courses count)
* Have a grade of C or higher
* Submit course transcripts showing credit hours and grades
* Submit receipt showing tuition and materials costs
If you have already applied for reimbursement for Fall 2021 classes, you do not need to apply again unless you are seeking reimbursement for Spring 2021 classes.
