Subject: [SecondaryMath] State Mathematics Contest 2019

Excited to share the email below—please read and share with your colleagues who are over the Mathematics Contest in your area.

Greetings, all!

It's time to think about the State Math Contest again! The date is Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Weber State University will be the main location for the contest with options to take the test at SUU, USU Eastern in Price, Blanding, and a new location this year, Uintah Basin!

We are doing registration a little differently than last year. We will have each school reserve the number of spots they want, up to 15 per grade, by November 1, 2018. As we procure buildings and rooms at Weber State University, we will notify schools by November 15, 2018 of the number of spots they can have based on available space. The fee is $25 per student, and it will need to be paid by January 3, 2019. This will get the student the opportunity to take a fun test, a lunch, and a goodie bag. Spots that are not paid for by that time will be forfeited. Each school will have until February 15, 2019 to determine who they will send and what dietary restrictions will be needed for lunch. We are also in need of proctors. If you can bring any volunteer proctors (ages 18 and above), please include their names and emails on the reservation form.
