Something you may have been waiting for... the application information for HB 373: School-Based Mental Health Qualified Grant Program
The Utah State Board of Education is excited to release the School-based Mental Health Qualified Grant Program application for FY2020<https://schools.utah.gov/scep/mentalhealthgrant>. Established during the legislative session (H.B. 373<https://le.utah.gov/~2019/bills/static/HB0373.html>), this new program authorizes the state board to distribute money appropriated under this section to local education agencies (LEAs) to provide, in a school, targeted school-based mental health support, including clinical services and trauma-informed care, through employing or entering into contracts for services provided by qualifying personnel.

2. Interim Feedback Dates: LEAs who submit their application by the following dates/time will receive feedback from the Utah State Board of Education review team prior to the final due date.
May 16, 2019 by 5 p.m.
May 22, 2019 by 5 p.m.
May 29, 2019 by 5 p.m.
1. Application Final Due Date: Friday, June 7, 2019 at 5 p.m.
Send completed application for interim feedback and/or the final application to Sarah Young at sarah.young at schools.utah.gov<mailto:sarah.young at schools.utah.gov> as a digital link to the completed plan. Note: To be considered, the Utah State Board of Education must receive your electronic copy by the dates specified above. All e-mail submissions will be confirmed with a receipt e-mail from the Utah State Board of Education within 24 hours. An LEA shall resubmit if a receipt is not received.
