Science Standard Setting Request

As we complete the testing season, we are gearing up to complete the workshops to analyze and validate the test results for the new grade 6 – 8 Science with Engineering Education (SEEd) standards. We need to get a wide distribution of participants from across the state to help with standard setting. Included in the list of needed participants are superintendents and curriculum directors. We also need ELL specialists, SPED specialists, gifted and talented specialists and a good representation across socio-economic levels. Please have interested parties email me directly by May 25, 2018, if they want to participate in this workshop. The workshop will be September 11 – 13, 2018 at the Hotel RL in Salt Lake City. Participants that travel more than 50 miles one way will be provided a hotel room. All participants will be reimbursed for mileage and may qualify for a $100/day stipend. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Thank you for your support. If any have questions, please email me at: scott.roskelley at schools.utah.gov<mailto:scott.roskelley at schools.utah.gov>
