Curriculum Directors, Please distribute this opportunity to teacher leaders in your LEA.

Hope Street Group<http://hopestreetgroup.org/teacherfellowship> (HSG) and the National Network of State Teachers of the Year<http://www.nnstoy.org> (NNSTOY), two nonpartisan nonprofits that connect classroom teachers with their peers and decision makers, will soon recruit their first cohort of Utah Teacher Fellows (TFs). We hope you'll get the word out to passionate and solutions-oriented educators. The program operates in four other states (Hi, KY, NC & TN) and is launching UT now along with AZ.

The online application opens April 1, 2017, but interested teachers can learn more now by visiting apply.hopestreetgroup.org/res/p/utah<http://apply.hopestreetgroup.org/res/p/utah>. Teachers can also hear about the program firsthand and prepare to apply by joining an Information Session Webinar. You may register for this session -- 3/28, 7:30pm MT -- here<https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1325615579982381057>.

The Utah program has been carefully designed to develop the competencies of great teachers, providing them with tools to engage their colleagues and generate solutions to education challenges. To date, Fellows have met state and federal decision makers, attended regional and national convenings, and been featured in multiple publications. See how Fellows view the program in the short video here<https://youtu.be/FbE91NBLR4M>. State specific highlights can be found at this link: Impact Points<http://hopestreetgroup.org/impact-points/>.

Utah Fellows will be teachers who remain in their schools full-time and contribute ~10 hours monthly to program activities including data collections, professional learning sessions and partner meetings. They will be mentored by a Utah State Teacher of the Year throughout their participation in the program.
Please help us by distributing this save-the-date information to teachers in your network via newsletter, personal emails and/or social media posts. Two ideas are attached.

Again, the online application will open April 1 and all materials must be submitted by April 30 to be considered. If you have questions, please direct them to my colleague Celia Gregory at fellowship at hopestreetgroup.org.

Many thanks for your partnership and your meaningful work for Utah teachers and students,
