Dear Public Education Stakeholder,
You are receiving this message because we would like you to participate in an online survey to gather information regarding the State Board of Education's (Board) rulemaking process. Based on feedback recently received by the Board, Board leadership, Superintendent Dickson and I are planning to revamp the Board's rulemaking process to increase stakeholder participation in the process and increase school district and charter school awareness of newly enacted or amended Board rules. Next week, during the Board's Law and Licensing Committee meeting, the Board will be discussing ways to improve the Board's rulemaking process, including how to improve communication between the Board and education stakeholders.
