Subject: Grant opportunity for districts on principal supervisor work

Dear Holly,

I am hoping you can help New Leaders get the word out about an exciting opportunity for districts. With generous support from the Wallace Foundation, New Leaders will award two $125,000 grants to districts or district consortia to defray the costs of its Principal Supervisors program. The program is designed to improve system-wide school and principal performance by developing the individual and collective skills of principal supervisors.

We are sending out an email to about 75 districts that we think might be interested, but we would be thrilled if you could help us publicize this opportunity to other states and districts that may be interested in this direct support for principal supervisors.

You can learn more about the RFP process and the program at our Request for Proposals page.<http://www.newleaders.org/what-we-do/principal-supervisor/new-leaders-principal-supervisor-request-for-proposals/> Note that districts already receiving major grants for principal supervisor development (such as those in the Wallace Foundation initiatives) are ineligible.

I hope you will share this opportunity with your members, and I welcome any ideas you have regarding additional districts we should reach out to.

Warm Regards,

Benjamin Fenton
