Educators, Administrators, and Others,

A committee comprised of educators from rural and urban Utah,
administrators, and representatives from the Utah Instructional Media
Consortium, the Utah State Office of Education, and the Utah Education
Network (UEN) recently evaluated proposals in response to a Request
Proposal to provide digitized video content to Utah's K-12 educational
community. The committee selected DigitalCurriculum with the idea that
this service is the best value for Utah's K-12 educational community.

A link to DigitalCurriculum will shortly be added to the Pioneer
Library K-12 web page (http://pioneer.uen.org) and the UEN web page
(http://www.uen.org/projects). We will be evaluating this product
throughout the school year to see how DigitalCurriculum meets your
needs. UEN's Professional Development Department is developing
and resource materials to support this product. If you have any
immediate questions or concerns, please e-mail us at resources@uen.org

or call us at 1(800)866-5852.

Because unitedstreaming was not selected, this means that you will not
have access to this service after October 31st. In addition, to be
compliant with the copyright terms of our agreement with United
Learning, you will have to erase any content you have downloaded over
the past year from the unitedstreaming web site should you choose not
renew a subscription locally. If you have interest in purchasing a
separate subscription to unitedstreaming, please contact United
at (800) 323-9084.
