Greetings ALL,

As you work through your end of year checklist of items to cover, hand-in, or "to do", I thought I would send a friendly reminder for some new processes.

· In reflection or reminder of the February 9th email regarding data projects, data projects are due June 1st to USOE. Your CTE director or counselor specialist will submit the reports for all schools/entire district to me at one time through a security data file system called MOVEIT. Only charter schools will submit their data reports directly to me via email.

o Reminder, your district may have earlier deadlines for you, in order for them to meet the deadline of June 1st for all school reports.

o Reminder, only one data project is due for each secondary school.

o Reminder, materials and information on data projects can be found at: http://schools.utah.gov/CTE/ccgp/Data-Projects.aspx

o New, priority and preference is for you to use the readable PDF file posted on the CCGP website. However, many schools do not have access to Adobe Pro. Therefore, attached is a word file to use in this first year of the new form.

o All data reports should be one page ONLY

· CCGP Summer conference: Late registration is open until May 28th ; After that date, only on-site registrations will be accepted at the cost of $70 and availability is not guaranteed. You can find conference information at: http://schools.utah.gov/CTE/ccgp/Conference-Information.aspx We have planned an excellent conference, which we hope to see close to 1000 participants, district administration, building administration, school counselors, Youth in Custody, Prevention, Alternative Services, and Adult Education personnel. The focus is resiliency, school climate, social/emotional learning, and college and career readiness. Hope to see you all there!!!

· Something new: The CCGP website can still be found through links off the USOE home page: http://schools.utah.gov/main/ However, if you have bookmarked the CCGP site prior to May 1st, your link needs to be updated. http://schools.utah.gov/cte/ccgp/ is the new link if your computer does not redirect automatically. I encourage you to use the website for questions on licensing, listserv, program reviews, conference information, etc.

· Please forward this information to other counselors in your building if they did not receive this information and encourage them to sign up for the 2 school counselor listservs. You can guide them to the website for how to sign up for the 2 listservs. http://schools.utah.gov/CTE/ccgp/ListServ.aspx

· Plan for some needed down time for the summer months, to enjoy, rest, and rejuvenate.

Ahéhee' (thanks)
