State Ag Ed Supervisors:

Here's an item you might want to share with your teachers, especially your ag mech/ag welding teachers.

Harbor Freight Tools is sponsoring the Harbor Freight Prize for Teaching Excellence.  Three prizes of $100,000 and 15 prizes of $50,000 will be awarded to skilled trade teachers that teach one or more of the following content areas:

  *   Ag Mechanics
  *   Carpentry
  *   Construction
  *   Electrical
  *   HVAC
  *   Manufacturing
  *   Plumbing
  *   Transportation/Auto Mechanics
  *   Welding

In 2019, Wendy Schepman, an agriculture teacher from Stuart, Florida was one of the three grand prize winners.
