Congratulations to the FFA members who were selected as State Star
Finalists in their respective categories! The announcement is attached as
well as posted on the homepage of UtahFFA.org.

*State Star Finalists:* Interviews will take place on Monday, March 30.
Rankings will be announced during the Fifth General Session on Tuesday,
March 31. Advisors and parents/guardians are invited to be recognized on
stage with their student and should arrive in their reserved seating no
later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday.

*Finalist Script Pieces:* If you are the advisor of a State Star Finalist,
you or your student need to provide a small script piece to be read while
they are on stage. We ask students and advisors to write these because we
want to ensure the things that are most important to the student are
highlighted! A great example script is included within the submission form
make it as easy as possible. These are to be submitted online *HERE
<https://form.jotform.com/200624847679062>*. Please submit these pieces no
later than one week from today, *Tuesday, March 10th.*

The main components of the script pieces are below:

   - Name the student, their parents, and their advisors. Include phonetic
pronunciation if names aren't easily pronounced
   - Highlight how the student's SAE began
   - Highlight how the student has grown/improved their SAE, and/or skills
   and lessons they have learned
   - Highlight future goals of the student
