Join us on Thursday, February 22 from 4:00 – 5:00pm for the next installment on the Secondary ELA Webinar Series.
Let’s Talk about the Robot in the Room
with Matt Winters, Senior Technology Trainer, UEN
Just over a year ago, OpenAI launched ChatGPT, its flagship generative AI program. This move opened up a much larger conversation about artificial
intelligence in our schools and what effect it might have on our students, educators, and our communities at large. To understand how AI is changing education, we first need to explore what it is and how it has already changed our society. In this presentation,
participants will explore what AI is, how it is being used in our society, and, most importantly, how it is changing student learning. We will also explore some options for student writing projects using AI and how to approach using AI as an educator.
**Supports implementation of Writing Standards 1-4; Reading Standard 13
