Black Magic Da Vinci is a great piece of software.  And even the free version is very robust.  It does have a big learning curve if you are just starting out.  This is due to its wide range of editing modes which are built within the software.

Subject: [Cte_broadcasting_technology] Editing Software

Hi TV and Video Teachers,

I'm curious to know what software everyone is using to edit, and, more specifically, is anyone using DaVinci Resolve?

We do everything in Adobe...

but I have a couple of students who are BEGGING to use Da Vinci... need some data to back up my response.

Thanks to all who are willing to respond.
