Utah Film Center's Teacher Professional Development offers immersive, high-quality courses for educators. All training is comprehensive, based on Utah Core Standards, and supports
the integration of the filmmaking process into educational settings. Through online modules and instructional materials, educators learn how to teach the creation of documentaries, public service announcements (PSAs), instructional videos, personal narratives,
and other short film projects with their students.
Participants can receive 1.0 USBE credit, 15 relicensure points, or credits toward the Media Arts or Ed Tech endorsements. In addition, all graduates get a filmmaking kit and curriculum guide to start making films for their classroom.
